Julia is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Mental Health Studies from the University of Toronto. Julia has experience in healthcare and research settings such as Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital, and Princess Margaret Cancer Research Tower. Since then, she has continued her clinical work in trauma-focused clinics and settings specializing in supporting individuals impacted by motor vehicle accidents.
Julia works with individuals to reduce distress, support recovery, and build resilience by drawing on evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs. She integrates various modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Strengths-Based approaches.
Julia’s goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming space in which clients feel heard, understood, and validated. She believes that through a supportive and collaborative relationship, clients can build resilience and feel empowered to face life’s challenges.
