Dr. Melvin Philip

Melvin Philip, MD is CPSO certified in internal medicine and specializes in palliative and hospice care. Dr. Philip received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Bridgetown, Barbados. He completed his residency in internal medicine and was named resident of the year at the Connecticut Institute for Communities, Danbury Hospital. He went on to complete his fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine in palliative and hospice care, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Queens.

Dr. Philip is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Ontario Medical Association and Hamilton Academy of Medicine.
