Antonella Macri

Antonella immigrated to Canada from Italy after receiving her Bachelors degree and starting her work career.  Upon her arrival in Canada, she completed her Masters in Social work in 2009.  During this time, she became very interesting in counselling and embarked on further training in multiple modalities of psychotherapy including CBT, Emotionally focused therapy, and DBT.  She describes her therapeutic approach as strength-based, solution focused, mindful and person-centered. She appreciates everyone has strengths that they can leverage in realizing their hopes.  She is enthusiastic about helping patients discover ways they can help their recovery from persistent concussion symptoms.  Antonella provides therapy in both English and Italian.

Insurance coverage for Antonella Macri’s services

Antonella Macri is Social Worker who practices Psychotherapy, not a Registered Psychotherapist. Most extended health benefit plans will still cover for her services under Social Work. Please check with your provider before working with Antonella if you plan on submitting the expenses to your extended health benefits. Our office does not offer direct billing to your insurance company so you will be responsible for any fees for any services you have used.
