Relaxation training trains one to calm the mind and modulate the autonomic nervous system.

  • Relaxation is a skill that can help with many things of importance to us: stress, sleep, cognitive endeavours, athletic performance, health (e.g., headaches), psychological well-being, etc.
  • Our relaxation skills have evolved to help us survive in environments very different from those in which most of us now live, work, and play.
  • Learn how to get the power to modulate your nervous system under your control through relaxation training so that you can show up in all aspects of life an improved version of yourself.

Please note: While we endeavor to limit the session to the allotted time, at times, the sessions go overtime because of discussion and questions. Please keep this in mind when scheduling group counseling appointments. We recommend that you do not book anything else for 30 minutes after each group session.
